I don’t like that this works.

Folks, I’ve tried all kinds of ways to make Bluetooth not suck and it just doesn’t work. I’m officially done with it.
I guess maybe I was expecting too much of it. But then there’s the way the OS responds to it. Maybe the OS is the culprit! I could see that. Because just turning on a Bluetooth headset shouldn’t make my entire system fall to pieces. But it does. Because I’m trying to leverage technology that is not mature. That’s what I think.
What do you think???
I’ve had this phone for several weeks now and I have to say I’m fairly disappointed.
The touch sensor is great. It should never have left. But that’s about the only improvement that I’ve seen. It takes longer to boot up than the Pixel 4 or even Pixel 3 it seems. The processor seems way slower on the active task. The voice-to-text typing is very sluggish compared to the quick response from the Pixel 4.
The notion of “accounts” and “channels” is just far-fetched. Nothing makes sense. YouTube remains one of the biggest, fanciest, disjointed pieces of software I’ve ever used. Just a big damn mess.
Too bad people don’t do things right. Instead they pile onto what’s popular in order to make a fast buck and then we’re stuck with the consequences forever. That’s the capitalist way, isn’t it.
The fact that using a VPN decimates connectivity in most cases says lots about how people have failed to regard the Internet as truly global.
The freedom to connect from one point to any other point is intrinsic to the WWW.
